Description We are inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst in the Manufacturing industry, based in Irving, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be expected to utilize your skills in data analysis, financial reporting, and business process functions. Your main responsibilities will involve data validation, financial forecasting, report generation, and cross-departmental communication.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize various data resources to clean and validate data for creating financial reports such as month-end close, budget, and forecast packages.

• Develop and modify complex forecast models based on key indicators and compare them against actuals and budget.

• Generate internal management reports on a monthly basis to track financial status and ensure cost accuracy.

• Analyze financial activities using medium to advanced Excel modeling, including the monthly close process, expense budgeting, and forecasting, long-range planning, and expense allocations to product lines.

• Monitor the product release calendar and communicate changes to Sales and Production departments to initiate product development.

• Employ data mining methods to extract necessary information for reporting needs.

• Undertake ad hoc reporting and other duties as necessary, including support of accounting and finance departments.

• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Atlassian Jira for managing tasks and maintaining records.

• Perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in business processes.

• Work within an Agile Scrum environment to deliver outputs in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in AB Testing, Agile Scrum, and business process functions

• Ability to prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents

• Capable of managing claim administration tasks efficiently

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes

• Proven track record in identifying business needs and determining solutions

• Experience in project management methodologies and techniques

• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its business processes

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field is preferred

• Relevant professional certifications would be an added advantage.
