DUTIES:Analyze customer escalation issues and work with various teams (Product Development, Customer Support and SEG) to ensure a smooth flow of information in resolving critical customer issues. Develop new software features and maintain existing ones. Handle the resolution of escalated technical issues by analyzing the available data to identify and narrow down root cause, investigating each technical issue, replicating the customer issue in test environment, describing the issue in detail to support engineers or customers and identifying and developing the software code changes to resolve customer issues. Analyze and report defects/bugs of Trend Micros software to improve conformance, usability and supportability. Understand customer network architecture and design accordingly to provide product patches or solution sets. Link discrete product knowledge and IT domain know-how together to provide system integration support and consultation services to Enterprise customers. Provide technical direction to internal teams and proactively recommend solutions to improve the supportability of Trend Micro Enterprise products. Virtualization and cloud platforms design and management. Test automation maintenance and enhancement. CI process maintenance and enhancement. Find new ways to reduce operation effort and improve infrastructure reliability. Monitor and identify potential issues of infrastructure and solve them proactively before becoming a real issue or impact to customers. Ensure consistency in deployment strategies. Verify that the deployment system is robust and easy to maintain. Ensure that both the development system and deployment system adhere to the company-defined cybersecurity guidelines and conform to industry best practices and standards. Address customer escalation issues related to cybersecurity incidents or potential malware infections involving Trend Micro products. May telecommute.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field and six years of experience in the job offered or a software engineering related role.
