Description We are in the process of expanding our team in Jacksonville, Florida, 32256, United States with the addition of an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is situated in the Hi Tech Engineering sector and presents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to contribute to customer application processing, record maintenance, and query resolution, alongside monitoring customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate processing of Accounts Payable invoices, with an emphasis on the 3-way match of invoices, purchase orders, and delivery receipts.

• Conduct the creation and implementation of payment runs.

• Handle the reconciliation of vendor statements and troubleshoot invoice discrepancies and issues.

• Manage the month-end closing of AP, including the formulation and posting of accruals.

• Maintain organized and precise Accounts Payable records.

• Timely respond to vendor inquiries, resolving any issues in a detail oriented manner.

• Drive the continuous improvement of AP process and systems. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Hi Tech Engineering industry.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation processes and methods.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) operations.

• Proven experience in conducting Check Runs.

• Ability to accurately code invoices with a clear understanding of the process.

• Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience in invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting.

• Experience in 3 Way Matching, ensuring that purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports match.
