Description
We are offering an opportunity for an Application Support Analyst in the healthcare industry in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves maintaining and improving healthcare information systems, and requires a sound knowledge of healthcare processes, technical skills, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
System Administration & Optimization:
optimal performance of healthcare applications through proactive maintenance, upgrades, patching, and emergent change management.
Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to enhance system functionality and user experience.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Lead and coordinate testing phases for EMR functionality, upgrades, and software changes.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Work closely with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Data Management & Security:
Implement and monitor data management protocols and procedures.
Oversee data integrity and security measures to protect patient data.
Project Management & Leadership:
Lead and manage IT projects related to healthcare innovation, system expansion, and growth.
EMR Implementation & Design:
Lead third-party vendors and clinical workgroups through the design, development, interoperability, and deployment of EMR systems.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve EMR application issues promptly to ensure system stability.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, IT team members, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements • Applicant must possess at least one year of experience in the role of Application Support Analyst or a similar position in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Application Support is a mandatory requirement for this job role.
• The candidate should have a thorough understanding of EMR - Electronic Medical Records.
• A strong grasp of Data workflows is crucial for this position.
• The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application support is a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as the role involves liaising with different departments and stakeholders.
• The candidate should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, is essential for this role.
• Knowledge of current healthcare industry trends and regulations would be advantageous.
• The candidate should be willing to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
• The candidate should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, which are essential for identifying and resolving issues effectively.
