This is a full time/on-site position (5 days a week, Mon-Fri) based out of Orlando, FL.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Physical Security Systems (PSS) Ashore Program’s mission is to design, procure, integrate, install and sustain the systems/equipment hardware, associated firmware, and software required to provide the ability to protect mission-critical assets and personnel from natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other human-caused disasters. The NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is executed by the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Management Office (PMO), NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) and NAVFAC regional Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs).

The primary goal of the NAVFAC PSSAshore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain NAVFAC PSS Ashore Program Systems in accordance with their operational requirements.

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

In this role, you will:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment including alarms, naval munitions, giant voice, cameras, intrusion detection, emergency operation centers, regional dispatch centers, wide area alert, dispatch activities, and support for regional and emergency operation centers.

• Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts.

• Be relied upon to determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance

• Position requires the ability to access confidential/classified areas

• Bachelors Degree

• Or a high-school diploma/GED with minimum 3 years of experience in the field

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the field

• Must be a resident in Orlando, FL area

• Ability to travel up to 10%

• Ability to work holidays, weekends, nights, and/or overtime if needed

• Qualified candidate should have experience with access gates and associated hardware, software, systems and manufacturers including one of the following:

• Federal Signal

• CCTV

• FLIR

• Lenel

• Balanced Magnetic Switch

• Card Readers

• Access Control Logic

• AMX
