ManpowerGroup Parts Inventory Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida

Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Parts Inventory Specialist to join their team. As a Parts Inventory Specialist, you will be part of the inventory department supporting the parts team. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, detail-oriented, problem solver, punctual, and dependable person who can lead by example and lead others.

Job Title: Parts Inventory Specialist

Location: Jacksonville, FL - Blount Island

Pay Range: $17

What's the Job?

  • Loading processing line with parts and inventory.

  • Process incoming orders.

  • Daily count to keep accurate.

  • Overseeing rotation of inventory.

  • Daily reports to part manager.

  • Ensure all safety regulations are met.

  • Ensure cleanliness of shop.

  • Ensure training logs are maintained and kept current.

  • Understand objectives for the day and goals set by supervisor.

  • Know all functions and job scopes and how to perform.

  • Help team in areas of need to complete tasks for the day.

  • Ordering supplies, creating Purchase orders.

  • Checking in parts, letting customer know of any discrepancies through email or verbal interaction.

  • Going to different warehouses picking up transfers and delivering supplies.

  • Creating parts Fedex and freight transfers

  • Data entry with accuracy

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience operating a forklift and/or willingness to learn and obtain license to drive a forklift.

  • Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

  • Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Credential).
