Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with exceptional skills in business development, client relationship management, and event coordination. This role requires a dynamic individual who can work in-office, travel within the local area to meet with clients, and organize impactful events that drive business growth.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk, and hear. Standing or sitting for extended periods of time may be required.

• Lifting and/or moving up to ten-pounds is expected.

• The noise level is usually moderate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue potential

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for growth

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring consistent and professional communication

  • Understand clients’ business needs and offer tailored solutions that align with company services

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client expectations and ensure satisfaction

  • Plan, organize, and execute events (e.g., product launches, client appreciation events, networking events) to promote business development and strengthen client relationships

  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, marketing materials, and guest lists

  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings

  • Travel within the local area to meet with clients, attend industry events, and network with potential business partners

  • Provide in-person presentations, proposals, and service demonstrations as needed

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales activity, business development efforts, and event outcomes

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business strategies

  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or account management in the A/E/C industry in Northeast Florida

  • Strong network and familiarity with the local market and industry landscape

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and execute successful events

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently

  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools

  • Ability to travel locally within the town as required

  • Flexibility to work in-office with occasional travel for events and client meetings

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)

  • Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
