APTIV Behavior Technician in JANESVILLE, Wisconsin

Compensation and Schedule: Full-time position Competitive hourly wage of \$18.16/hour Schedule: During the school year: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM During the summer: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Some weekend availability required Responsibilities: As a Behavior Technician at Aptiv, you will play a key role in supporting adults and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your work will empower individuals to thrive in their homes, schools, jobs, and communities. You will: Identify and implement innovative interventions to enhance individual independence and quality of life. Guide skill development and mentor staff in applying targeted behavior practices. Develop and implement behavior support plans tailored to individual needs in the community. Facilitate behavioral training opportunities for community organizations and explore opportunities for additional community-based programming. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma 2 years of experience working with adults or adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experience developing and implementing behavior support plans and working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills. Flexibility in scheduling, including required weekend hours. Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage. Preferred: Bachelor\'s degree in a related field (e.g., Sociology, Psychology, Social Work). Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training. Experience with restrictive measures plans, public speaking, and training groups.
