Reports To: Workforce Development Manager

Summary:

This individual will play a key role in the learning and development of the workforce while maintaining accurate training records.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for creating and logging training records.

  • Create learning plans and/or training content for employees as directed by Workforce Development (WFD) Manager.

  • Organize and maintain United Alloy's Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Maintain Excel documents used to track training activities and metrics.

  • Be able to facilitate training sessions using PowerPoint, Adobe, and common LMS training tools.

  • Draft prompt and professional communication with management and vendors.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands and timelines.

  • Facilitate new hire orientation weekly

  • Facilitate youth development/community outreach programs as directed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education or related field preferred

  • 2+ years of training experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Experience with training video production, learning management systems, and/or training program development preferred

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization

  • Must be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment.

  • Must be open to working in a wide variety of departments as management directs.
