BBandE team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.

Position Summary

BBandE isseekinga dynamic and detail-orientedConstruction Managerto join our team, supportingthe Pacific Air Forces (PACAF)onsiteatJointBasePearl Harbor-Hickam, Honolulu, HI.The position involves working on both classified and unclassified networks for the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD).

JobDuties andResponsibilities

• Responsible fordesign and installation of networked systems and controlssuch as intrusion detection, automated access control, security cameras, fire alarms,and mechanical systems
• Provideexpertiseforconstruction and renovationofadministrative facilities including security and access control for secure areas asrequired;design logic and controls for management of these type of systems
• Adhere tosecurity requirements for design and construction in and aroundsecure open storage areas (SOSA) and sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIF)
• Procure, design,and installaudiovisual conference systems(AV/VTC)

KeyQualifications

• U.S. CitizenshipandanactiveDoDSecretSecurity Clearanceisrequired
• Knowledge:
  • Experience with construction and renovation administrative facilities including security and access control for secure areasisrequired; experiencewith the design of logic and controls for management of these type of systems is preferred
  • Afocus on network systems and controls such as intrusion detection, automated access control, security cameras, fire alarms and mechanical systems
  • Working knowledge of security requirements for design and construction in and around SOSA and SCIF areas
  • Experience in the procurement,designand installation of Audiovisual Conference Systems (AV/VTC)
• Strong Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Software:Proficiencyusing MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experienceand Education

• Experience:Musthave a minimum often(10) years experienceworking on design and installation of networked systems and controls and one year of experience as a Project Engineer or government representative

• Ability toremainin a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
• Ability tooperateoffice equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
• Capable oflightlifting,under10lbs.
