We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principle Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our conversational AI and clinical automation platforms. As a Principle Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and healthcare experts to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions that facilitate seamless communication between patients, medical professionals, and healthcare systems.

The team that you'll be working manages critical backend applications for the CDA product that acts as an abstraction layer between upstream and downstream systems used by CDA. A successful Principle Software Engineer will be able to collaborate with many different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems

• Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality code to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products.

• Lead architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to ensure the adoption of best practices and alignment with the overall technology roadmap.

• Be a team leader helping technically lead the team for day to day activities.

• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver features in a timely manner.

• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in conversational AI, clinical automation, and healthcare IT.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
