Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate

• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of financial records

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis

• Oversee bookkeeping activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry tasks and financial reporting

• Execute month-end close procedures accurately and timely

• Manage payroll processes, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and financial management. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary.

• Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is a must.

• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is required.

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently is expected.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience in handling Month End Close activities is required.

• Knowledge of Payroll management is necessary.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
