Elevate your career as a Global Lead (Vice President) in our CIB Technology Planning & Analysis Team. In this dynamic role, you'll support critical budgeting and forecasting processes and deliver valuable insights to Senior Management. Collaborate with Finance Managers, Business Managers, and P&A teams to drive strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.
As a Vice President in the Planning & Analysis team, you will lead financial planning and analysis function within the CIB Technology organization. Partner with various departments to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making. Lead and coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, and prepare management reports for Senior Management and Business Leads.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the development and management of the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial targets.
Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior leadership.
Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to executive management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis.
Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the P&A function.
Execute on transformation agenda
Work with stakeholders across organization including Global Technology Finance, CIB P&A, Front Office P&A, etc.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience with at least 3 years in financial planning and analysis or a similar role within the financial services industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize them into cohesive presentations
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
CFA, CPA, or MBA.
Experience with automation tools and data analytics
Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues and think strategically.
