Position: Transportation Associate Reports to Operations Manager Status Part-Time Classification Non-Exempt Location Johnson City, TN Position Overview Providing caring and responsible ambulatory transportation for patients to and from their medical appointments, using a company owned non-emergency medical transportation vehicle in Washington and surrounding counties, as well as other locations as directed. Key Areas of Responsibility Prepare vehicles prior to each daily route including vehicle inspections, restocking supplies, and maintain vehicle interior and exterior Greet and assist members as they board the vehicle and pleasantly interact with members throughout their trip Safely transport members and identify appropriate, safe and convenient locations for dropping off members Follow schedule, GPS, other company apps, and report regularly to dispatch Operate vehicle in a safe and lawful manner being mindful of the safety of yourself, members, pedestrians and other motorists Complete all required docs and maintenance records clearly and accurately. Participate in training and educational opportunities Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 1 year of uninterrupted driving experience Pass Federal Criminal Background Check (FELON/RECOVERY FRIENDLY EMPLOYER. FURTHER INFO DURING INTERVIEW) Pass initial Drug Test, be willing/able to submit to random drug testing Standard TN Class D License with F-Endorsement or CDL (or willing to obtain prior to training) DOT Physical Card (or willing to obtain prior to training) Knowledgeable of how to get around the Tri-Cities area.
