Join our team to provide non-clinical, clerical support for ChildServe's Inpatient Complex Medical Units. As a welcoming presence on the unit, you'll greet and assist staff, residents, and families with information, directions, and hospitality needs. This role also assembles and maintains resident medical records to ensure accurate documentation and smooth unit operations. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating transportation requests, offering guidance on local area resources, and supporting unit accommodations to enhance the experience of those we serve.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, typical business hours
Occasional weekend based on service needs
Holiday rotation

What You’ll Do
Oversee file management, including quality assurance chart reviews, document scanning, and maintaining up-to-date system paperwork.
Assist in coordinating services and resources to ensure residents and families feel well-supported.
Coordinate patient admissions and discharges to support efficient patient flow.
Complete assigned administrative tasks and provide backup support to team members for requests, records management, and training.
Answer phones and relay messages in a professional and timely manner.
What You’ll Need
Experience: 1 year in a customer service role required; 1 year in healthcare or administrative position preferred.
Preferred Skills: 6 months of direct customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in a medical setting.
Experience with EHR, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands.
Developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding, in writing and verbally
