Job Title: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker

The purpose of this position is to provide and coordinate psychiatric rehabilitation (PsyR) services to individuals with mental illness, which will assist them in obtaining and succeeding in community integration and achieving established rehabilitation goals.

The position of PsyR Worker is a professional staff position and requires a person capable of conforming to the high standards of behavior expected of all staff. Excellent work habits, including attendance and punctuality, are required. The person must follow company policies, and safety procedures as well as assuring that customers/clients under his/her supervision follow the same.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Two year's work experience in human services or a BA with academic concentration in a field of study directly related to the position. Computer Proficiency: Advanced computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Clearances: Must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal History Check, and Department of Human Services- FBI Fingerprints.

Exclusion Report: Employee will be screened on an ongoing monthly basis to determine if he/she has been excluded from participation in federal healthcare programs. If exclusions from participation in federal healthcare programs occur, employee will be precluded from employment in any federally funded healthcare program operated by Goodwill.

Other: The PsyR Worker must have a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record and dependable transportation, which can be used in the course of his/her job. The PsyR Worker must have an operating telephone, so that he/she may be contacted quickly by Goodwill when necessary.
