Our Case Manager should be comfortable working closely with clients to move them in the direction of independence. They will manage their time well to provide in-person care for clients and be able to complete all documentation in a required time limit. Case managers will need to be comfortable setting professional boundaries while still being empathetic and friendly toward clients. They will demonstrate unconditional positive regard for people in all different walks of life and will meet and support clients where they are.

Minimum Qualifications: All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska drivers license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving.

  • Read and comprehend forms, instructions, regulations, treatment plans, and other relevant documentation

  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, at all levels of the organization, other agencies, and the public
  • Ability to work with our diverse population with unique needs
  • Ability to provide and maintain professional relationships with clients and their families, while allowing for mutual respect, consistency, and empathy in all interactions, and appropriate ethical and relational boundaries

KSAs should be equivalent to those typically gained through:

  • Direct service provision for individuals living with serious mental illness; direct service provision for individuals who need social services, or functional living support; or post-secondary education in any field.

Pay Range: $22.57 - $33.42 per hour
