CLEARVIEW Certified Nursing Assistant Course in JUNEAU, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: PAID C.N.A. TRAINING COURSE** This 120 hour course consists of classroom study and clinical experience, both held at Clearview. Classroom study involves lectures, audio-visuals, procedure demonstration and return demonstration, and written quizzes on material covered. The student is responsible for attending and successfully participating in all classroom activities. Upcoming Class Schedules: November 11, 2024 through December 19, 2024 (no class the week of 11/25-11/29/24) January 13, 2025 through February 13, 2025 Classes be held Monday-Thursday from 7:00a.m.-1:00p.m. **Please note** Successful applicants will be paid for training hours as long as they complete a Pre-Training Agreement that states they will accept at least a Flexi status C.N.A. position with Clearview and remain employed for a year. Applicants refusing at least Flexi status employment and remaining employed for one year after successful completion of the program/class, will have the cost of the C.N.A. class, \$350, deducted from their final paycheck. In the event that Clearview does not offer an applicant a position, they would be released from this obligation. If applicants plan to not accept a position as stated above, the applicant will not be paid to take the class and the \$350 course fee would required prior to taking class. The course fee of \$350 per person includes all needed materials (ex. handbooks) and the state exam fees for both the written and skill sections. Job Requirements: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: -Knowledge of and respect for residents rights -Knowledge of and ability to comply with policies and procedures -Knowledge of state and applicable federal codes -Ability to use computer programs for record keeping and reporting. -Ability to demonstrate techniques of prevention and management of physical crisis -Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions -Ability to read and comprehend printed word (i.e. Care plans/IPP) -Ability to perform simple math and comprehend military time -Ability to recognize change in residents condition -Ability to learn and operate washer and dryers ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of and respect for residents rights Knowledge of and ability to comply with policies and procedures Knowledge of state and applicable federal codes Ability to use computer programs for record keeping and reporting.
