Position Specific Description
This position will support the FPL Power Monitoring and FPL OSPS (regulated generator program) service offerings. The core duties will include:
New customer enrollment for Power Monitoring. Including sales process, contract management, field coordination for equipment installation, and system configuration.
Power Monitoring customer support
OSPS generator project development – certain project management tasks related to generator system planning and development
OSPS customer support
Required Qualifications (e.g., education, skills, experience)
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Proficient in MS Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing engineering or technical degree
Project Management experience
Any other relevant information that may help in attracting suitable candidates
The role is project management based and supports business lines that provide electrical services.
The roll itself is more commercial than it is technical, however some basic knowledge of how electrical power works is necessary.
Job Overview
To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assists department with assigned projects
Completes challenging projects and assignments
Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school grad / GED
Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
