Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Jupiter, Florida, for a Billing Clerk. This role involves working in the industry of finance and accounting, focusing on billing and data entry. The workplace environment is fast-paced and requires an individual with proficiency in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer invoices and payments.

• Perform data entry tasks related to billing and customer account management.

• Regularly review customer accounts for accuracy and potential issues.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their billing and account status.

• Use QuickBooks to manage and organize customer billing data.

• Match invoices with payments and record the transactions.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action for unpaid invoices.

• Ensure that all billing records and data entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate billing processes.

• Identify and implement improvements to the billing process to increase efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

• Proven numerical skills

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

• Strong data entry skills

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located.
