We are seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our Big Island Energy Company - Kailua-Kona team. If you are interested in working for a local, family-owned business and enjoy working in a fast paced, customer focused environment, this position is for you. This is an exempt position.

Position Summary The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations, coordinating activities of departments concerned with the sales and distribution of products and services in Kona and Kawaihae. This position is also responsible for overall facility compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, including federal, state, and county requirements.

Knowledge, Education and Experience Ideal candidates will have a bachelors degree, professional experience in lower and middle management and leading a small to medium size team. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products including Word, Excel and Outlook. Applicants must possess excellent communication, team building, time management, problem solving and conflict management skills. Must have the ability to use sound judgement and maintain confidentiality, work independently, and understand how to develop and implement business strategies. Knowledge of principles and methods of moving goods by commercial vehicle, business and management principles, economic and accounting principles and practices, and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC), over-the-water requirements, EPA, OSHA, and any others state, federal, county requirements affiliated with the petroleum industry.

Compensation: Starting at $85,000.00 Annually
