Your Impact:
Drive Client Financial Success
You’ll own the client experience from start to finish, communicating regularly with clients to address their needs, provide proactive updates, and ensure their satisfaction.
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing accurate monthly financial reports
Process payroll with precision, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain financial accuracy and client confidence
Deliver Technical Excellence
Enter and reconcile transactions with meticulous attention to detail
Collect and process timesheets, calculating deductions and taxes correctly
Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports for decision-making
Maintain compliance with all applicable tax regulations and requirements
Assist with specialized accounting tasks to support client and firm objectives
You’ll assist with other accounting-related tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team and firm.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of payroll and bookkeeping experience in public accounting
QuickBooks Online & QuickBooks Desktop: Proficient in using both to manage client books, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and financial statement preparation.
Payroll Processing: Experience handling payroll, including calculating deductions, commissions, taxes, and submitting payroll tax forms on time.
Bank Reconciliation: Skilled in reconciling bank and credit card statements regularly to ensure financial accuracy.
Data Entry & Accuracy: Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting standards (GAAP).
Payroll & Tax Compliance: Thorough understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and IRS compliance requirements.
Software Platforms: Experience with MS Office and G-Suite

This is a hybrid position based in Kalispell, MT, and only candidates within a reasonable commuting distance will be considered. Training will take place fully in-office, and ongoing, the role requires working in-office approximately 50% of the time.
