Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Our Client works closely with automotive manufacturers to develop innovative vehicle modifications, making the transportation of people, cargo, and equipment easier, faster, and more efficient. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Workers to join our team and work on the production line, ensuring vehicles move steadily through final inspection. This role involves installing wheelchair ramps in transit vans, using hand and power tools, and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the production line to keep vehicles moving at a steady pace through final inspection.

  • Install wheelchair ramps in transit vans.

  • Lift up to 50lbs and assemble components using hand and power tools.

  • Read and interpret blueprints.

  • Identify and address problems prematurely.

  • Use a variety of power tools including bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives, and air saws.

  • Work independently and with a team to reach daily goals.

  • Use a measuring tape accurately.

  • Work with chemicals as needed.

  • Track supplies and equipment, notifying the manager of inventory levels.

  • Adapt and learn new areas of the production line or new builds.

  • Train new hires in your area of responsibility.

  • Always comply with Core Values.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with assembly and use of hand and power tools.

  • Knowledge of reading blueprints.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Experience with mechanical assembly and upfitting.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to complete production-related physical activities.

  • Comfortable using a measuring tape.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to function capably in a production environment using standard equipment (machine tools, hand tools, measuring devices, etc.).

  • Participate in required company safety programs, trainings, and PPE guidelines.

Work Environment

Work in a nice facility that is non-climate controlled. The hours are 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
