SCHEDULING SPECIALIST AT PRIMEFLIGHT!

Our Scheduling Specialist in a flexible, custom manufacturing environment (not an assembly line) is responsible for maintaining the production schedule and ensuring adherence to critical processes across multiple departments. This role facilitates the efficient flow of work from sales release to production, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and smooth operations.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A SCHEDULING SPECIALIST

· Develop, adjust, maintain and communicate the production schedule based upon customer commitments, resource (materials and labor) availability, and production capacity

· Coordinate schedule changes with department leads for delays or priority shifts

· Serve as main point of contact between Sales, Engineering, production and shipping to ensure smooth workflow

· Create and manage work orders, ensuring they are updated with accurate project numbers and labor hours

· Coordinate timely closure of completed work orders to maintain accurate records

· Issue sales releases and ensure associated documentation is complete and compliant with company standards

· Print, organize, and distribute job packets, ensuring teams have the necessary resources to proceed

· Generate reports on production performance including labor efficiency, schedule and process adherence

· Assist in identifying inefficiencies in workflows and recommend process improvements

· May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

· 18 years of age or older

· Eligible to work in the United States

· Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

· Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

· Pass a background check and drug screen

· Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
