We are in the process of assembling a team in KANSAS CITY, Missouri, for an upcoming renovation project for our client. The role of a Hardware Consultant is vital for this undertaking, particularly in the IT department. This opportunity offers a contract employment opportunity, where your skills in Computer Hardware, Hardware Installation, Laptop Hardware, and Workstation Hardware will be put to great use in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the disassembly and reassembly of IT equipment in coordination with renovation schedules

• Ensure safe and secure relocation of IT equipment out of the building prior to renovation work and back in after completion

• Provide technical consultation for the optimal setup of hardware in the renovated space

• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute the efficient moving of hardware

• Utilize expertise in Computer Hardware, Hardware Installation, Laptop Hardware, and Workstation Hardware throughout the project

• Participate in the planning phase to provide insights on hardware management during the renovation

• Manage and monitor the condition of IT equipment during the move-out and move-in phases

• Report on the status and progress of hardware relocation and installation

• Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the relocation and reinstallation of IT equipment

• Support the team in ensuring minimal disruption to IT services during the renovation.

Requirements • Applicant must possess strong knowledge in Computer Hardware.

• Proficiency in Hardware Installation is required.

• Familiarity with Laptop Hardware is a necessary skill.

• Applicant should be well-versed in Workstation Hardware.

• No minimum years of experience are required; however, experience in a similar role is beneficial.

• Candidates should have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues efficiently.

• A keen interest in staying updated with the latest advancements in hardware technologies is expected.

• Excellent communication skills are necessary to explain complex hardware issues in a clear and understandable manner.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must to diagnose hardware issues and implement effective solutions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
