Under the general guidance of the Region Director of Operations, the Regional Service Center Manager provides direct oversight to multiple 10-Day Service Centers locations throughout their region (MO, MN, IA). The Regional Service Center Manager ensures all safety, compliance, policies, and DOT Regulations meet expectations within their region. The Regional Service Center Manager should have a deep understanding of logistics, planning, and meeting customers' expectations.Under the general guidance of the Region Director of Operations, the Regional Service Center Manager provides direct oversight to multiple 10-Day Service Centers locations throughout their region (MO, MN, IA). The Regional Service Center Manager should have a deep understanding of logistics, planning, and meeting customers' expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains compliance with regulations related to transportation safety and environmental standards.

  • Responsible for ensuring premier service is provided by local Service Center Managers and teams on a consistent basis to Service Accounts (all lines of services).

  • Ensure compliance with program requirements and customer satisfaction in accordance with Clean Earth policies, practices and procedures.

  • Support sales department in the implementation of new accounts, presentation of services, response to inquiries and technical information.

  • Effectively communicate organizational and safety goals to their locations and ensures compliance amongst their group.

  • Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to ensure efficient transportation of goods.

  • Support managers in local offices to better service clients through management of staff; including hiring, training, development, and performance in accordance with HR policies and practices.

  • Provide support in the recruitment and hiring of field leadership and drivers as needed.

  • Provide technical support to field staff and managers, assist in the content development and deployment of technical training.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Manage P&L of the service line within region and staff accordingly.

  • 7-10 years' experience in related transportation field including experience utilizing transportation management software systems.

  • 7-15 years of proven leadership experience

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required

  • 40-hour OSHA training completed and current.

  • Ability to work independently using initiative and effective communication to solve challenges.

  • Ability to analyze P&L statements, maintain and track EBITDA levels.

  • Understands DOT Regulations

  • Minimum four-year degree in business or related field or equivalent in experience training or education

  • 7-10 years' experience in related transportation field including experience utilizing transportation management software systems

  • 7-15 years of proven leadership experience

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required
