Honeywell Sr Data Analyst in Kansas City, Missouri

In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing and Technologies (FMandT) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administrations (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. Summary

The Sr. Data Analyst will provide senior-level support and analysis for KCNSC enterprise data projects, define processes, and adhere to them. The role is responsible for performing data analysis, data mapping, data integration, data quality, and application development for our data cataloging solution. This role provides primary support around our Data Governance activities as determined by KCNSC Data Office management.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Utilize analytical and technical skills for translating and analyzing business needs into requirements that lead to the design and implementation of ourgovernance solutions.
  • Collaborate with varioustechnology stewards that support analytical tools to modernize our approach to cataloging metadata within our enterprise data catalog
  • Automate cataloging by developing the Collibra's out-of-the-box API library and enabling processes with Python scripting.
  • Document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity of solutions.
  • Effectively prioritize and deploy solutions within our data catalogthat can replace manual processes.
  • Develop and support integration between data catalog and data qualify by leveraging standard API library within Collibra.
  • Work directly with technical stewards that support analytic solutions to leverage the use of APIs in order to automate cataloging activities and keep the cataloged assets up to date.
  • Operating at the Sr Analyst level, duties/responsibilities should be carried out with autonomy and require minimal direct supervision of day-to-day tasks and only high-level direction from departmental leadership.
You Must Have
  • Bachelors Degree or 6 years equivalent experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated data management experience, including the ability to merge, clean and analyze large amounts of data
We Value
  • Technical experience should include SQL, PL/SQL, T/SQL, NoSQL, and Python API development.
  • Knowledge or experience with Collibra data cataloging and data quality tools.
  • Familiar with metadata management within analytics tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Data Process Analysis experience.
  • SAP data management experience (SAP Datasphere, Information Steward, Data Migration cockpit, etc.)
  • Experience working with Data management platforms (Collibra, Informatica, Denodo, etc.)
  • Strong organizational an time management skills. Ability to lead/drive priorities.
  • Ability to clearly document business process and system requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both senior managerial and technical teams.
