Position: Construction Manager for Utility Scale Solar

Location: Anywhere in the US (100% travel)

Type: Long-term contract to hire

Requirements:

• Experience as a Construction Manager, Racking or QC Foreman on Utility Scale Solar projects

• 4 years of Utility Scale Solar construction experience, with 2-3 years in a leadership role

• Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

• Experience working with solar tracking systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Strong problem-solving skills and construction math understanding

• Leadership skills and ability to maintain client relationships

• Safe working practices and success in managing projects on schedule and under budget

• Willingness to travel 100% of the time, throughout the US

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and expertise on solar tracking products

• Ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations

• Conduct and document safety meetings

• Assist in project preplanning, including plan review, manpower, sequencing, and material requisitions

• Maintain communication with project managers, engineers, and clients

• Develop construction schedule forecasts and daily progress reports

• Work with subcontractors, temporary labor, electricians, and employees on planning and quality control

• Provide guidance and technical support on electrical and building components

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26
