Aerotek Traveling Solar Construction Field Manager in Kansas City, Missouri
Position: Construction Manager for Utility Scale Solar
Location: Anywhere in the US (100% travel)
Type: Long-term contract to hire
Requirements:
Experience as a Construction Manager, Racking or QC Foreman on Utility Scale Solar projects
4 years of Utility Scale Solar construction experience, with 2-3 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
Experience working with solar tracking systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong problem-solving skills and construction math understanding
Leadership skills and ability to maintain client relationships
Safe working practices and success in managing projects on schedule and under budget
Willingness to travel 100% of the time, throughout the US
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and expertise on solar tracking products
Ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations
Conduct and document safety meetings
Assist in project preplanning, including plan review, manpower, sequencing, and material requisitions
Maintain communication with project managers, engineers, and clients
Develop construction schedule forecasts and daily progress reports
Work with subcontractors, temporary labor, electricians, and employees on planning and quality control
Provide guidance and technical support on electrical and building components

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26
