As a Data Engineer you will...

  • Collaborate with internal teamsto expand our data warehouse with clean data ready foranalysis

  • Partner with data scientists to develop and implement technical architectures for strategic solutions

  • Test and implementnew data sets to enable customer facing data products

  • Analyze and optimize data processing workflows

  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of emerging tools/technology for Data Engineering

  • Design and build reusable components to support data team development, establishing best engineering practices

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years working as a data engineer , with a strong preference for experience in Azure cloud enviromnents.

  • Strong SQL and database experience

  • Strong Python experience as it relates to data pipelines

  • Experience with ETL tools and cloud platforms

  • Experience designing, creating and maintaining data processing systems

  • Experience supporting and creating customer facing data solutions

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship- F1 (OPT/CPT), H1, H2, L, B, J, or TN visas or individuals requiring future sponsorship are not eligible.

Preferred, Experience & Skills:

  • Preferred experience with Snowflake Preferred experience with dbt

  • Exposure to streaming data solutions

  • Experience with containerization

  • Basic familiarity with BI tools

  • Interest in creating data visualization to provide insights to customers

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours

This role has the flexibility of remote work and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm (based on team headquarters time zone). Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers. This role also has a travel requirement of up to 1 week per quarter to one of our business locations, predetermined by leadership in advance.

Pay Transparency

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary/pay range for this role is $67,129.60 - $176,114.90 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
