Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the Insurance industry, based in Kennesaw, Georgia. As part of our team, you will be tasked with processing surplus lines transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with state requirements. Your role will also involve working closely with other departments to uphold data and reporting integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process surplus lines transactions for assigned production teams within set deadlines.

• Maintain detailed documentation to support tax filings and track the status of each transaction.

• Collaborate with Corporate Compliance and Accounting, among other departments, on surplus lines transaction processing and reporting.

• Assist in the development and implementation of changes on surplus lines procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Research, monitor and implement changes required to adhere to each state’s surplus lines requirements.

• Ensure the completion and filing of accurate tax reports on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.

• Run reports and verify data to maintain accuracy of information.

• Update databases as needed and maintain appropriate documentation.

• Assist with surplus lines audits, verifying transactions, documents, and filings.

• Handle any other related projects as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience in Data Entry

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Ability to organize files efficiently

• Proficient in performing calculations accurately

• Experience with scanning documents

• Excellent typing skills

• Knowledge of the insurance industry

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
