Expected salary range of $97,200 to $108,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The primary responsibility of the Senior Analyst, Project Controls is to work closely with the Project Development, Project Management and Operations teams to support the development, delivery and post-construction monitoring of customer projects. This work involves providing timely, resourceful, proactive management support for the effective and efficient control of project scope, schedule and budget information.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assists with ensuring the integrity and accuracy of project information by maintaining current and correct information in the Company's project control system (anticipated to be Oracle Primavera / P6); Engage Finance for project cost management / Primerva P6 for prject scheduling / Oracle Business Intelligence Suite
Summarizes data in cost and schedule reports that will allow the Program Manager, Project Manager and Operations Manager to make timely decisions that will positively affect the project's profitability and the customer's satisfaction;
Maintains and continuously improves the Company's project control system to plan, schedule, and track engineering, development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and post-construction measurement and verification activities for the life cycle of all projects
Develops and maintains accurate cost and/or resource-loaded schedules as required by the project team and by senior management based on existing resource availability/utilization and projects in the respective phase pipe line;
Assists with planning, directing and coordinating activities of projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Manages all parties involved (internal and external) and ensures professional project management from system design to construction phase.
Assists with developing and reviewing project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scope of work, standards and quotes from suppliers; Assists with supervising project implementation. Gathers data by interviewing project team members for scheduled accomplishments, and the projection of cost and schedule estimates to complete each phase of the project
Assists in the development and maintenance of management model procedures and processes and assists in the procurement and processing of resources, tools and equipment in support of project activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or other related field; OR
10+ years of qualified experience in the field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and control.
All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
Strong financial, scheduling and process background.
Ability to prepare documents using word processing (MS Word), presentation (MS PowerPoint) and spreadsheet (MS Excel) application software.
Willingness to travel to other Company offices and customer sites, as required, to coordinate project control information.
Knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, qualification, and validation.
Knowledge of computer-based cost, planning, and scheduling systems.
Project quality assurance experience. Knowing how to make sure that the proper personnel have completed necessary quality assurance procedures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Energy services experience is desirable.
Oracle Financials experience is preferred.
Finance / Project Cost Management experience is preferred.
Oracle Primavera P6 experience is preferred.
