Scope of Position

HCS is a small (12 employee) company that operates within a specialized field. We are seeking a talented individual capable of learning HCS design, sales, and manufacturing practices. This position offers multi-disciplinary cross training in these functions. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to coordinate, lead, and develop projects in these fields from initial conception to completion.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Assist the Engineering Manager is all aspects of design, calculations, and drafting.

  • Perform inside and outside sales duties including estimating and proposal writing, building customer relationships, job site visits, etc.

  • Perform project management activities on awarded projects

Required Education & Experience

  • BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent engineering fields.

  • Sales experience and/or strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • MS Office Suite experience

  • Some travel within continental US (0-25%).

  • Light physical activity.

Desired Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.

  • AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in project management.

  • Experience in design of custom products/components.

  • Familiarity with NQA-1 requirements and quality systems.

The range for this position is $75,194.00 - $103,392.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
