The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to current customers in a fast-paced environment. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, maintaining strong relationships through effective communication, and utilizing internal systems to track sales, account activities, and customer service requests. The representative will also assist in supporting field trainers, managing records, supporting accounts as assigned and ensuring a seamless customer experience through proactive follow-ups. Success in this position requires proficiency in task management, strong telephone skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic sales team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and Document Outbound Sales Calls – Proactively engage with existing customers via outbound calls to promote products, provide sales support, and enhance customer relationships.
Conduct and Document Inbound Customer Inquiries – Respond to customer calls with professionalism, addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Process and Prepare Orders – Accurately enter and manage customer orders, Field Trainer orders, track shipments, and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer requests efficiently
Respond to Customer Emails – Provide timely and professional responses to customer emails regarding orders, account inquiries, and general support needs.
Engage in Professional Development – Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and skill-building initiatives to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
Requirements:
Associates Degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
Minimum of up to 2 years customer support and/or account coordination experience or equivalent
Microsoft Office, excel, word a plus. Prior SAP experience also preferred.
