Alaskan and Proud Markets is a locally owned and operated Grocery Store headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska. We are looking for an energetic and innovative person to join our Ketchikan Dairy team. There is a great opportunity for advancement within the Alaskan and Proud Operations. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic understanding of perishable retailoperations
• Strong work ethic and dependable
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Must be able to obtain food handler certification within 30 days
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hr work period
• Basic full body motions: bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, reaching
• Flexibility with work schedule (including weekends and holidays).
• Have reliable transportation options to make it to work on time
• Capable and receptive to working in cold environment for long periods of time
• Ability to arrive to work on time ready to start work

*Duties and Responsibilities: *

• Stocking and Rotating Products based on Best Use Dates
• Receiving Freight and Organizing Freezer Space
• Cleaning, Maintaining work and merchandising areas
• Merchandising products as directed
• Assist with ordering and identifying products needed weekly
• Assist with front end operations as needed
• Misc. job tasks as assigned by store director or supervisor
• Follow and comply with company policies and procedures
• Follow and complies with Health and Safety policies
• Contributing to a positive Work Atmosphere

• $15/hr. - $18/hr. depends on qualifications and experience
