Pay:
This is a union role; the current rate is$31.09per hour. This is non-negotiable.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must pass our onsite Mechanic 1/C skills test prior to interviewing.
- Must possess aUniversal Refrigeration Certification.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Candidate must be flexible in accepting additional duties as assigned by supervision.
- Maintain all necessary records and paperwork.
- Availability to work any of the 3 shifts.
- Must be able to work Overtime as required on an as needed basis.
- Must show prior experience working as a trained HVAC Mechanic and or have past experience maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate must have a thorough understanding of mechanical systems including but not limited to:
- Conveyor Systems
- Automated Production Machines
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on plant equipment
- The ability to use CMMS, Computerized Maintenance ManagementSystem
- Theory and practice of refrigeration mechanics and controls, gear and pulley systems, air compressors, filters and dryers, and pumps
- All types of HVAC/Refrigeration systems
Job Responsibilities:
- Under minimum supervision, install, maintain, and repair water pumps, hydraulic systems, servo systems, controllers, and air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Inspect, dismantle, repair, assemble, service and erect all types of mechanical and processing equipment.

Accountability: Work is frequently checked for quality, accountable for results to manager, supervisor, group/lead person, and project engineer(s).
