Robert Half Controller in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the consultancy industry at our location in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. We are in search of a Controller, who will play a crucial role in executing core accounting and finance functions, maintaining our firm's financial integrity, and leading related projects and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring efficiency and accuracy in accounting, tax, and other finance functions.
• Serving as a strategic partner to the organization, contributing to decision-making and long-term financial planning.
• Enhancing the Accounting and Finance infrastructure to effectively support both current operations and future growth.
• Managing the timely completion of monthly closings, financial reporting, and conducting in-depth financial performance analysis.
• Overseeing systems that aid comprehensive planning, forecasting, budgeting, and the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Developing timely cash flow forecasts while monitoring and addressing the firm's financial needs and balances.
• Leading the development and training of finance and accounting staff to build a high-performing team.
• Assisting with various aspects of business operations to ensure seamless function across departments.
• Supporting corporate development initiatives, including the integration of acquisitions and strategic projects.
• Ensuring the firm's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Requirements
The ideal Controller will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar required.
Other requirements for the Controller role include and are not limited to:
· 5+ years experience with a mix of accounting and finance, experience overseeing company audit required
· Financial Statement preparation, GAAP and Multi-State Tax experience
· MUST have QuickBooks experience
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills
