Responsibilities You will serve as Maintenance Mechanical Leader, Nuclear Reginal Maintenance Department (NRMD), Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. You will provide on the job training for up to 5 workers under his/ her leadership, corrects improper work methods, and ensures assigned work procedures are being followed. You will keep the first line supervisor informed of job progress. You will plan and layout the installation, modification, and repair of various new and existing piping systems and equipment. You will produce request carpentry and woodworking products to support shipyard maintenance work. The Screen-out Element for this position is: THE ABILITY TO WORK WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION such as: Experience interpreting and applying building plans and blueprints; utilizing shop mathematics to plan, compute, and layout projects Experience in the use of tools and equipment common to the trade and be skilled in the safety precautions, principals, and work methods associated with a maintenance mechanic Experience utilizing tools and equipment common to the trade.
