Description

Overview Draken International-US is seeking a dedicated and experienced HRBP to join our team. In this role you will be working with our Business Partners in support of various HR programs and initiatives related to Administration, Engagement, Culture, Workforce Development and Training.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization while fostering a positive workplace culture ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with HRD in the delivery of various HR programs and initiatives related to Administration, Engagement, Culture, Organizational Development and Training.

  • Manage benefit enrollment and annual open enrollment processes for Draken Health & Welfare and 401k benefits. Managing qualifying life events (QLE).

  • Ensure benefit changes are accurately reflected in the HRIS software

  • Administers COBRA via Paycom.

  • Ensures compliance ACA and data entry of hours.

  • Administer online worker’s compensation claims and management of related documents.

  • Administer all Leaves of Absence, to include FMLA, reporting, tracking and communication of return-to-work status to management.

  • Benefits Vendor invoice management

  • Assist with recruiting activities including reporting, job postings, scheduling of interviews, preparing interview materials, coordinating/screening of candidates, creating offers for US and Expatriate hires.

  • Oversee the on/off boarding processes, ensuring all necessary Paycom checklists and paperwork are completed. This includes processing PAFs, I9s, E-Verify, initiating background check, drug screens, internal notice of new hires, assigning accruals, conducting exit interviews.

  • Administer PAFs, including wage increases, raises, promotions, transfers and terminations. Communicate with payroll to handle final paychecks upon termination and to address payroll adjustments. Ensure proper paperwork and notifications are aligned, communicated, and approved

  • Utilize Paycom for tracking HR metrics and reporting on key performance indicators.

  • Provide guidance and information to staff as appropriate, in the areas of recruiting, training, compensation, staffing, benefits, and Company policies referring employees to the appropriate contacts as required.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers regarding employee performance, conduct issues, and disciplinary actions. Investigate staff incidents, complaints, harassment, discrimination, and other issues. Team development / periodic employee roundtables.

  • Responding to external request for information (VOE, Unemployment/military clearance holders)

  • Act in the best interest of Draken.

  • Occasional overnight travel in support of HR Objectives

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED

Knowledge

  • A minimum of 4 years of directly related HR experience required

  • Education: Some college preferred; SHRM Certification preferred

  • Must be able to secure and appropriately handle confidential data, materials, and correspondence.

  • Must have at least 4 year of experience writing reports from an HR software system; Paycom is preferred or other similar software systems.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Applicant Tracking System; Paycom experience is preferred or other similar software systems.

  • Must be able to work in a rapidly changing environment

  • Must be able to work within payroll deadlines

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations

  • Proactive and efficient follow up skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook required.
