JOB DUTIES:

• Coordinate Type Approval Project between Icom and US and Canadian government agencies
• Handle the product certificate/regulation updates that support sales at Icom America.
• Work to achieve product certifications for long-range and short-range radio communications, digital technology, and the D-STAR digital mode amateur radio market.
• Work with research and development team and engineering department to monitor product release decisions.
• Assist in assuring quality control for Technical Standard Order (TSO) radios and Icom America Systems (IAS) products
• Occasional domestic and international travel required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3 Years Experience in a RF Electronics - related occupation

Able to read, write and speak Fluent Japanese

Experience with the certification process for RF electronics

Experience in 2-way communication equipment utilizing Radio Frequency electronics

*OFFERED WAGE: * $109,346 per year.
