The Team:
The NetSuite Global Business Unit is part of Oracle’s Cloud Business Software Suite. The NetSuite application is one unified business management suite that encompasses Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and financials, Customer Resource Management (CRM), ecommerce, and human resources, making it easier for customers to focus on what they do best – running their business. The technical writing team produces engaging, high-quality documentation that helps our customers use our software to run their businesses with ease. We want each of our customers to feel like they always have a NetSuite expert by their side.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate on the design of quality documentation that adheres to a common language and style guide.
Work closely with developers, other writers, and our software to learn about complex technical concepts.
Write about complex technical concepts in official documentation that goes out to more than 30,000 companies.
Learn from experienced technical writers and software developers when you get stuck on difficult problems.
Learn about the Agile software development process and how to actively contribute as a technical writer.
Create, improve, and proofread technical documentation in an XML environment.
Collaborate with your fellow colleagues in a relaxed yet busy open-office environment and have fun.
What You’ll Bring (Objective Minimum Qualifications):
To be considered for the Technical Writer Co-Op position, the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below must be met. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates these OMQs:
Must be a current degree-seeking student completing their degree May 2026 or beyond.
Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or English Literature, Rhetoric and Professional Writing or equivalent.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
A passion for technology and learning software products.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn from and teach others.
Ability to work independently.
This is a hybrid role and candidate must work from the Kitchener Waterloo office 2-3 days per week.
Reside in Canada and/or attend a university in Canada.
Able to acquire work authorization in Canada in 2025.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest or experience in writing for end users and administrator desirable.
Knowledge of business or financial software desirable.
Experience working with remote teams preferred.
Familiarity with Agile development desirable.
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $20,500 to $120,000 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
