JobDuties &Responsibilities

• Assistandprovidetechnical guidance to engineers/architects exercising construction oversight and design management ofcapital improvementsprojects; scope of projects istypicallycomplexinnature ranging from comprehensive repairs to unique, multi-million-dollarstate-of-the-artconstruction
• Engagewith inter-related construction projects associated with high-visibilityprogram initiatives
• Usedesign bid-build or design-buildproject delivery methods
• Manage multiple priorities and, whenrequested, independentlydevelopand provide technical recommendations/ solutions regarding scheduling issues and timeimpactson complex problemsencounteredduring the administration of the construction contracts
• Routinely communicate and coordinate with other technical and non-technical NAVFAC personnel within the Facilities Engineering Command (FEC) and the various Field Offices
• Workindependently and take required actions through own initiative,usingexperience and foresight on all assigned projects
