Job Description

Pilot Company’s professional internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience to recent college graduates. Engages in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level, typically identified with a targeted exempt position. Receives training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. This is a 10-week paid internship program .

The Food & Beverage Intern will gain valuable experience in the foodservice industry at Pilot Company. This role will provide exposure to various aspects of food & beverage operations, including food preparation, customer service, and restaurant management. The intern will work closely with food & beverage professionals to contribute to the department's goals.

Responsibilities:

· Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including cooking, plating, and sanitation.

· Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to restaurant patrons.

· Restaurant Operations: Support restaurant operations, such as inventory management, scheduling, and cash handling.

· Menu Development: Contribute to menu development and testing.

· Food Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

· Special Projects: Participate in special projects, such as new product launches or menu promotions.

Qualifications

· Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality management, food science, or a related field.

· Strong customer service skills and a passion for food.

· Experience in the foodservice industry is preferred but not required.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· A strong interest in the food & beverage industry.
