As the Contracted Compliance Coordinator, you will help lead the OSHA and ADA Veteran Experience compliance for our National Provider Accounts.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hours per day (flexible schedule)
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Travel will be required (up to 50% of the time) to local contracted sites for in-person surveys, assistance with virtual survey completion, and to ensure providers are compliant and/or remediation is completed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assists in development and implementation of various tools including standard operating procedures, templates, reports, presentations, and training to support risk management activities, as well as the audit and assessment program
Serves as the leader to assess compliance for assigned programs, departments, and regions
Partners closely with other members of the EOHS and Compliance team to respond to questions on new/changed regulatory requirements following the communication of a regulatory bulletin to assist with gap identification, tracking, and closure
Supports business EOHS leaders in understanding and prioritizing their regulatory compliance assessment results to resolve findings
Evaluates and ensure comprehensive knowledge of applicable country, federal, state, and local EOHS rules and regulations
Provides trend analysis to identify areas of opportunity and best practices
Participates in and respond to requests for regulatory and customer information requests or audits
Acts as SME for in-person and virtual audits
Performs and supports in-person and virtual audits of facilities to ensure compliance with OSHA and ADA regulations
Reviews and understands changes in OSHA and ADA regulations and standards to ensure that auditing practices remain up-to-date and relevant
Supports any corrective action plans in response to external and internal audits both in-person and virtual
Works closely with Dedicated and Provider Network Management teams for collaboration and resolution of non-compliant providers
Participate in investigations of incidents or complaints related to OSHA or ADA violations, providing input and recommendations for remediation
Assists with the coordination of travel plans with all departments and providers
Performs and supports pre-contract site visit for dedicated and contracted network sites prior to activation

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
2+ years of experience working in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, a government, legal, healthcare, managed care and/or health insurance environment
Current OSHA 30 General Industry training or OSHA 511 General Industry training or willing and able to obtain within 90 days of hire
Willing and able to travel as needed up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within disability exam clinic environment
Experience with Environmental Health and Safety auditing
Military experience and/or experience working with military veterans
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Ability to influence and negotiate through use of verbal, written and interpersonal means with a diverse group of people/disciplines at all levels of an organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities and in making work related decisions

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
