This position requires working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain ratios within state guidelines at all times
Provide support and supervision of children at all times
Maintain a safe and clean learning environment for children
Assist children with age-appropriate activities that promote physical, intellectual, and social growth
Maintain open and cooperative communication with parents, encouraging their involvement in the program, and supporting the child's family relationships
Monitor and document children's behavior
Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and monitoring dietary restrictions
Support children with personal care tasks, such as diapering and toileting
Collaborate with lead or assistant teachers
Monthly staff meetings
Mandatory professional development trainings

be interested and comfortable working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old

Qualifications (Preferred):
Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting
Knowledge of early learning curriculum and child development
Familiarity with behavior management techniques
CPR/First Aid Certified
CDA or college course work in Education
Proficiency in classroom management strategies
Qualifications (Required):
18+ to work with children
High School Diploma/GED
Passion for working with young children
Ability to work in a Christian ministry environment
MUST be patient, compassionate, trustworthy, dependable, punctual, and have an engaging personality
Positive mindset towards child learning and development
Physically able to bend, lift, and play with children on the floor
Able to work cooperatively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
Pass criminal background checks and drug screens
Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (Facility Provides)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.50 per hour Pay rate depends on college coursework in Education and/or childcare experience
Expected hours: 40 per week
