Job Title: Flexo Press Operator

Job Description

The Flexo Press Operator is responsible for supporting the goals of the plant in the efficient operation of the printing machines, printing labels to specification, and assuring that quality is being maintained in a consistent manner. The role involves producing complex high-value add wine and spirit labels with multiple embellishments, assembling jobs as per requirements (Job Record, Job Docket), checking all components for the next job, and coordinating with a 2nd operator to ensure all components of the job preparation list are checked off.

Skills

• 5-10+ years of experience as a Flexo Press Operator with wet paint

• Ability to run press and assist press set-up, run, and clean-up

• Experience working with UV ink, solvents, and various print-shop chemicals

• Ability to read and understand a job docket

• Mechanically inclined with previous offset press experience

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Environment

Temperature controlled. 3rd shift: 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday. Includes a 30-minute paid lunch break. Must be back on time from lunch; lateness will result in immediate termination. Flexibility with shifts required. Must wear steel-toed boots, long pants.
