Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Lafayette, Indiana
What's the Job?
Maintaining, upgrading, and installing the company's network including switches, routers, Wireless, Firewalls, and other technologies.
Maintaining the company's internet lines and fostering excellent relationships with partners/ISPs.
Monitoring and evaluating the entire network and providing recommendations for improvements.
Maintaining the company's VoIP system and collaboration systems.
Leading projects with moderate resource requirements and technical complexity.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, or related major, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of five years of experience engineering and implementing infrastructure solutions.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, Voice, Data Center are highly preferred.
Excellent knowledge of routing and switching technologies including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and MPLS.
Experience with security products including Palo Alto FW and Cisco ASA/FirePower.
