Position Summary

Our General Laborers work to assist the matting crew in setting up access roads or pads for customers’ work sites. This includes laying and pinning mats around designated locations and removing mats upon project completion. Matting systems are used for any application that requires access in special environments, stabilization for heavy equipment or simple ground protection.

Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: 13982 W Front St, Williston, ND 58801
Schedule: Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday
Hours: 10-12 hours per day, start/end time varies
Pay Rate: $23-$24/Hr based on experience + overtime pay

Travel: Depending on the project/job employees may be required to travel out of state for a week. The company accommodates food and hotel

Essential Functions

• Operating a variety of equipment including skid steers, front-end loaders, dozers, etc.
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations in concurrence with company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for safety equipment being operated and aspects of the machine such as fueling, greasing, and general equipment maintenance.
• May be required to prepare location site using heavy equipment - level, clear trees, backfill reserve pits, build ring levee.
• Additional duties as needed or directed by supervisor and/or manager.

• Ability to follow exact direction
• Ability to perform manual labor outdoors
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to adhere to all safety and quality procedures
• Good interpersonal skills required to work in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes
• Experience with basic hand tools
• Must be able to meet position requirements regarding criminal background, motor vehicle report, and drug screen/physical
• US work Authorization (required)

• Driver’s License (preferred)
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Front loader truck: 2 years (Required)
• Skid steer loader: 2 years (Required)
• Heavy equipment operation: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Lafayette, LA (70506) Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
