Kelly Services Part time Legal Assistant Wanted in Laguna Hills, California

Company looking for a Legal Admin. for a part-time position.

Work Schedule: Two to three days/week with flexibility of days/hours

Could turn into a Full time role, but will be part time for at least a few months

Job Summary:

Looking for a legal secretary, whether certified or not, with 2-5 years of experience to undertake a variety of administrative and clerical tasks for a solo practitioner attorney, who handles primarily litigation. The purpose is to increase efficiency in office procedures and case management and assist attorney in managing document heavy cases in the areas of business disputes, real estate, construction, and general litigation. Position may lead to expanded duties or full-time work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorney

• Effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, witnesses

• Produce and file various legal documents, Judicial Council Forms, interact with process server, and e-filings

• Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by calendaring

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as typing skills.

• Familiarity with legal technology, court filing systems.

• Proficiency in English.

• Ability to multitask, and conduct documentary research

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

At least two to five years related experience required.
