Position Summary:

Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. Performs a range of clerical duties related to the support of operations of the ED including updating and organizing information; coordinating work within the unit and with other units and departments; reporting relevant information to the manager; and responding to inquiries and request from patients, families, visitors and caregivers. Promotes HRMC's Mission, Vision, Values and High Five Guiding Principles.

Reports to: Emergency Department Director

FLSA: Non-exempt

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire Current ACLS certification supersedes BLS certification

Competencies: Basic EKG course within 30 days of hire Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills CNA license or EMT certification preferred
