Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This "hands-on" position is a key position in the firm for developing communication plans for corporate, regional, practice area, and other internal groups. The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following: Support the development and implementation of Geosyntec's corporate communications strategy Develop and deploy written content for the company's internal communication vehicles Effectively learn and use emerging digital technologies required to communicate innovatively in a global firm, including news and events Working in close partnership with functional (e.g., Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Information Technology, and Health, Safety & Environment) and practice areas to complete communication initiatives Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technology, and digital platforms to provide the best methods for effective internal communication Track key performance indicators and benchmarks, set goals, and measure the success of internal communications initiatives Manage content calendars to streamline internal communication initiatives Support the development and implementation of internal communications campaigns Assist, as needed, to promote the company's digital brand, including all aspects of digital marketing Other duties as assigned
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, writing, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related discipline focused on written communications and 4 years of experience, an Associate's degree and 6 years of experience, or 8 years of relevant experience. (required) Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Viva, SharePoint), Zoom and other technologies that support employee communications and communities. (required) Ability to write/rewrite copy for inclusion in newsletters, corporate emails, internal social media posts, collateral marketing materials, and presentations conforming to prescribed style and format. (required) Demonstrated writing skills, including ability to craft a story in a compelling manner. (required) Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. (required) Ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail and be skilled in working both collaboratively and independently to perform effectively under tight deadlines. (required) Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills. (required) Ability to adapt to different communication styles and thrive in a client deadline-driven wo k environment. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec's total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.
